Item # 43:
Sliced Beef with Green Onions or Mongolian Beef
Price: $8.50
Date completed:  Thursday January 27th, 2203
This is another one of those "two-bangers", or whatever you want to call it. Two different items on the same line. I only have to get one of them for it to count, because, after all, I make up the rules. I, of course, got the Mongolian Beef, because I wanted it spicy. But even though it looked like there were a lot of hot peppers in it, it wasn't that hot. But that's my only complaint. Other than that, this sucker was perfect. I had to force myself not to eat the whole thing for lunch - I didn't really want to sleep through the rest of the day. I think I said that Sliced Beef with Bell Peppers was the best beef dish. That was an outright lie. (To be fair, I didn't know any better). This one is much more tasty. Now, I've had dishes called Mongolian Beef before, and they usually had about fifty of those big dried chilis in them. But - I don't know what goes for authentic these days anymore. This one, though not as hot, is the tastiest Mongolian Beef I've ever had. Whatever, this particular review has grown way too long, so it stops here.

I don't think that this is two different dishes, rather two different names of the same dish. In other words I think Mongolian Beef is sliced beef with green onions.

Nope. It is two different items. On the actual menu it says Sliced Beef with Green Onions (not hot) or Mongolian Beef (hot). I think.
